Peak Eurosport now offers Wilwood High Performance Brake Kits - Wilwood Engineering, Inc.
Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures high-performance disc brake systems. Since our founding in 1977, we have developed a substantial matrix of brake components and engineering techniques that allow us to quickly and reliably create brake systems for almost any application. Our core ability is the rapid development of custom engineered brake systems using a combination of off-the-shelf and custom components. In addition to designing and manufacturing brakes for all types of competitive motor sports, Wilwood also manufactures brake systems and components for agricultural equipment, industrial applications, utility vehicles, snowmobiles, quads, motorcycles and military vehicles.
Our engineering department uses the latest computer aided design and manufacturing techniques in conjunction with finite element analysis, dynamic test and cycle test equipment, to find high-performance and reliability solutions to the most difficult braking tasks. Our extensive inventory of proprietary on-the-shelf components permit us to provide very cost-effective solutions to unique brake applications.

More to the point,...our wheels are made in the USA, where Nutek can closely oversee the production and quality processes that define every Nutek wheel. While we believe this to be essential, the real story lies in what's behind the scenes,…owners with more than 40 years of combined experience. One of our owners was the founder of HRE, a company well known as an industry leader in three piece modular wheels. Prior to selling the company 1998, he invested nearly 20 years in developing the technology that has set the industry standard for quality and excellence in modular wheel products.
So, it is no secret that Nutek has the experience to build quality three piece wheels. What is more compelling is the fact that we have focused all of this experience on taking the modular wheel to the next level in its evolution. Six piston monobloc kits for the B8 A4 and A5 models. These are in addition to our existing 4 piston, 365mm kits.

October 25, 2010 - STaSIS Debuts 710-hp R8 V10 Spyder
Summit Point, WV - STaSIS has created the world's most powerful Audi R8, with race-bred technology that delivers a heart-stopping 710 hp. Debuting at the 2010 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show on November 2 through 5 in Las Vegas, Nevada, the STaSIS Signature Series Challenge Extreme Edition R8 is equipped with a roots-type supercharger that boosts performance by 185-hp and 132 lb-ft torque over the factory model. A race-tuned suspension, 390-mm, 2-piece brake rotors, lightweight forged 20" wheels and a throaty exhaust complete the package. STaSIS builds the only R8 supercharger kits in the world with a 4-year/50,000-mile warranty.
The STaSIS R8 will be located in Audi booth #11245 at SEMA. This is the only STaSIS-modified vehicle in the Audi booth. In addition, STaSIS will also be exhibiting STaSIS versions of Audi's 2.0-L Q5, 3.0-L S5 cabriolet, and 3.0-L S4 in the STaSIS booth (#11151).
STaSIS racing heritage is engineered into every R8 part so that all systems perform together harmoniously, providing driving enthusiasts racecar-inspired performance without compromising everyday driving comfort. This balance is built into every car we design, from the R8 V10 Spyder, to the STaSIS version of Audi's popular A4, to the STaSIS TT, S5, S4, A6, A5, Q5 and A3 models.
STaSIS Supercharger and Engine Modifications
The supercharger assembly bolts on to the 5.2-L V10 with no machining or welding necessary and is constructed primarily of CNC-machined aluminum. Generating up to 7.5 psi of boost pressure, the engine produces an astounding 710 hp and 523 lb-ft of torque. The STaSIS supercharger is designed to maximize power and durability by turning at low speeds to generate the desired boost levels. Lower rotating speed requires less parasitic drag from the engine and adds less heat to the charge air. STaSIS has incorporated a stand-alone cooling system, separate from the vehicle's existing cooling system, to further cool the supercharger and stabilize running temperatures. Complementing the supercharged intake, STaSIS developed a lightweight, free-flowing, T304 stainless steel exhaust system that replaces the factory exhaust. The exhaust's larger tailpipes, less restrictive dual mufflers and "X" style crossover design weighs 30 lbs less than the factory unit and sounds like a car enthusiast's dream. Deeper and stronger exhaust notes emanate across all throttle positions without being intrusive or "droning" in the cabin.
To wring out the most power and torque across the entire RPM range, STaSIS engineers have tuned the engine management software to utilize the benefits gained from both intake and exhaust modifications. Larger amounts of power and torque are available from 2000 RPM all the way up to 7500 RPM, providing one of the most exhilarating driving experiences available from any sports car.
Wheels and Tires
STaSIS Signature Series R8 wheels are a combination of strength and beauty. Forged with 300 tons of pressure from 6061 aluminum alloy, these wheels are extremely lightweight and strong. Measuring 20" x 9.5" in the front and 20" x 12" in the rear, STaSIS forged wheels are 27% lighter than cast wheels of the same size, and improve acceleration, stopping and handling.
The wheels are shod in Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires, measuring 255/30/ 20 in front and 325/25/20 in the rear. Originally designed for some of the world's most exotic sports cars, these tires work in concert with the suspension and drive train to deliver over 1.0 G in skid-pad testing.
STaSIS brakes use lightweight, 2-piece 390-mm rotors in the front and 355-mm rotors in the rear. Designed specifically for racing, these lightweight rotors have large air gaps, custom iron alloy and directional aerofoils that help to quickly extract the heat generated when stopping. Coupled to an aluminum hat via a floating pin design, these rotors are able to stop corner after corner without overheating or deforming due to heat stress.
The Signature Series R8 uses higher rate springs matched to custom anti-roll bars to create racecar performance with a factory ride and, is compatible with drive select. Our success in balancing the conflicting goals of a more aggressive stance, improved handling and factory ride comfort in the STaSIS R8 also translates to every Signature Series car we produce.

November 24, 2008 - Peak Eurosport now offers the Rayzer Wide Beam Driving Light
This is a product for Colorado!
Compared to normal driving lights, Rayzer's higher placement means it illuminates a much wider area. Rayzer is mounted on the inside of the windshield behind the rearview mirror. This position, along with Rayzer's small size, keeps it from interfering with the driver's field of vision. October 18, 2008 - Audi R8 Tech Session
Wheat Ridge, CO - Peak Eurosport and the Rocky Mountain Chapter of Audi
Club North America hosted a R8 Tech Session at the Peak Eurosport facility.
With sunny skies, seventy-plus attendees and four Audi R8s?the stage was set for
a great event.
There were three R8 "tech stations" with Ernie
DeVita leading the technical session on
the car, Frank Amaroso spoke to performance-
in-design and Andrew Price from the Audi
Development Labs shared about their involvement
in Audi brand advertising.
The euro theme continued with a catered Oktoberfest
lunch supplied by The Food Guy along with some cold
Paulaner Hefe-Wiezen to quench the thirst.
Brendan Rudack from Apikol was present with
a host of Audi performance upgrade products, David
Eagleton from Peak Eurosport went through the
Prima product line of car-care products and Mike
Weatherman from Peak Eurosports' Kart Race Team presented the Italkart race karts.
Rick Snyder was also present and went through Peak Eurosport's automotive racing
products and services.
Commemorative t-shirts were supplied and other drawing prizes were given including fifteen
total R8 rides and two club-level Bronco seats for the upcoming Miami Dolphins game on
November 2nd. We have a collection of shirts left-over from the event, please stop by Peak
Eurosport's shop and pick-up one for yourself...while supplies last.

Colorado Springs, CO - Dubs Along the Rockies, Colorado's Premier VW & Audi Enthusiast Event
was Peak Eurosport's stomping ground on Sunday the 24th.
It was a great day for both the crowd and vendors with events such as a Dyno Shootout, Slow Drags,
Car Show and raffles.

Denver, CO - The Pepsi Center was the location of our first car show. Peak Eurosport had two cars on
display; a customer owned VW R32 and our shop car, a 2001 Audi S4. Cars were all shined up by our new
detailer, Kim (check the Gallery for pics from this event).
April 12-13, 2008 - MMP Driver School
Tooele, UT - Peak Eurosport owners attend the Audi Club of North America/Rocky Mountain
Chapter Driver School at Miller Motorsports Park.
This was a great opportunity to announce the new business and be part of a weekend of
driving and meeting other Audi enthusiasts.
Both Peak Eurosport owners played supporting roles as Chris Sarian instructed other drivers on the
track and Ernie DeVita made sure cars going out passed tech and safety.
